Seaway offers and ensures a steady assistance, alongside ships, with its own qualified personnel, all along the duration of the loading/unloading operations of the steel products, i.e. HR coils, CR coils, plates/slabs, pipes, bars, billets, reinforcing bars/concrete iron, wire rod in coils and more.
On opening the holds, one of its staff carries out a preliminary checking of the apparent condition of the material informing its Principals and producing, impediments excepted, a detailed photograph report of the goods in the hold.
In case of damages, with the usual and utmost readiness, Seaway puts into action the informing procedures to all parties concerned, i.e. the ship’s Master, the Insurance Companies and P & I Clubs, through the assistance of registered surveyors, in order to safeguard the interests of the Client. The operations are being studied, organized and carried out on the basis of the logistic and commercial requirement of the Client, performing specific sorting by quality, dimensions and final destinations of the material.
